Troop 111 celebrates Eagle Scout

Mike Garozzo, a member of Boy Scout Troop 111, earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

Garozzo’s project was planting trees at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home, 2701 Southampton Road.

City Councilman Brian O’Neill presented a framed citation to Garozzo, who lives in Morrell Park.

He is the son of Rachael and Mike Garozzo. His mom is the troop’s committee chair. Shawn Crompton is the troopmaster. Steve Bradt is the assistant troopmaster.

Garozzo will be attending Bloomsbury University in the fall. He earned the Commonwealth University Chancellor’s scholarship due to academic performance. ••
